The Center for Microbiome Innovation (CMI) at University of California San Diego (UC San Diego) is proud to announce that 18 of our faculty members were included in Clarivate’s 2023 Highly Cited Researchers list. These researchers rank in the top 1% most cited in their respective field(s), representing their level of influence and expertise.
However, citations alone are not sufficient to make the list. A panel of experts at Clarivate’s Institute for Scientific Information further evaluates the researchers to determine whose publications have the most significant impact on scientific research.
